ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ season 2, episode 1 preview: First video of Michelle Fairley

Resurrection -Tomorrow night, the wait for the “Resurrection” premiere will be over, and with that, you are going to get a shot to see the show’s big-name guest star in action: Michelle Fairley.

As you probably heard throughout the summer, the former “Game of Thrones” actress is going to recur heavily in the role of Margaret Langston, Fred and Henry’s mother who has been dead for several decades. She is a woman with a somewhat-mysterious role in Arcadia, but that may take a little time to be fully revealed.

What the purpose of the sneak peek below is really to give us a sense of what Henry’s reaction is going to be to seeing his mother back, even though he is at a point now where he is even older than she was at her time of death. This preview really serves first and foremost as a reminder of how brilliant Kurtwood Smith is in this role, and how this gives us hope that Fairley will kill in this part. We have to admit, though, that it is a little disarming here to hear the actress with an American accent for a change.

There’s no word on just how many episodes she will be a part of, but all we can hope is that she will stick around long enough to have a tremendous impact in the story the rest of the way.

Hopefully, we’ll have some more news moving forward before the premiere, so be on the lookout for that.
