ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: Talking trust, and Nathan Fillion’s Rick

On Monday night, “Castle” season 7 will be back on the air, and the obvious story most want to see is what happens now that Rick has been captured. Will he be rescued, and when? Also what’s going to happen with Castle and Beckett’s wedding?

Still, there will be one mystery that comes even after Rick is probably found: Whether or not anyone will be able to see him the same way. Whoever captured him will be tied in some way to his past, and may catch everyone completely off-guard.

Per TV Guide, one of the biggest challenges for Nathan Fillion’s character moving forward may be whether or not everyone fully trusts him. How well do some of these people really know the author? Remember here that he wasn’t hired by Beckett or anyone else; he was brought on by the Mayor to consult and work on some future novels. Nobody really knows that much about his past, and it was only recently when his father entered the picture.

The only thing that we are particularly concerned about right now when it comes to this story is that we don’t want to find out anything that is so drastic about Castle that it changes our entire opinion of the character, and the show as a whole. We have to still like the guy! Also, we hope that any secret he has is not something he intentionally lied to Beckett or anyone else about. We like him when he is shrewd, but at the same time completely honest about who he is.
