‘Glee’ season 6 spoilers: A major Brittany / Santana episode coming?

Brittany and Santana have long been one of the most-popular pairings within the world of “Glee,” but at the same time, there has always been one thing holding the two back: A happy conclusion to their story. They weren’t able to make a whole lot of progress last year thanks to Heather Morris’ absence, and then Naya Rivera mysteriously taking a little time off from the show at times during the back half of it.

Luckily, we’re hearing that there will be some good news coming pretty early in the final season for these two characters. Per a report from Mjsbigblog, who compiles information about almost every episode, the third episode is going to be a big one for these two characters in particular. The title for the episode is “Jagged Little Tapestry,” and the theme here appears to be the songs of Carole King and Alanis Morissette mashed together. Clearly, the show is not too concerned about whether or not they want to be current.

Given the journey of these characters, the only tricky thing about the position the show is in is that it’s going to be very hard to please any fan of these two unless they end up together in the end, and if they do pair off, it better be in a way that is exciting, and pays off some of the wait. If nothing else, we do feel like the two are finally available … though things could change, given the massive time jump between seasons 5 and 6.

The new season of “Glee” will premiere at some point in early 2015.
