ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7, episode 1 video: Another Stana Katic-fronted preview

With the “Castle” season 7 premiere coming up on ABC Monday night, the folks over at ABC are finally being kind when it comes to one department: Releasing all sorts of sneak peeks from the episode.

The latest clip that we have for you below comes to us via TV Guide, and it raises an interesting question in the end: Was there a witness to what happened to Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion)? If so, it is definitely fair to categorize this as some sort of game-changer. Beckett (Stana Katic) is debriefed on the latest from Ryan (Seamus Dever) and Esposito (Jon Huertas), and we are given yet another very-obvious clue that she is doing just about everything in her power right now to ensure that he is rescued. The problem is that sometimes, there’s not a whole lot she can do without some information. Maybe this witness will guide the group on the right path, or maybe the FBI picks up on something when it comes to his cell phone.

One thing that is clear at the moment is that this is not exactly going to be a quiet case. Castle is a public figure, and with that in mind, this news is going to hit the media. That is something else that the police are going to have to worry about, as the struggle to piece together so many individual components of the case. Hopefully, by the end we will have a better understanding of what really happened to Rick, even if the mystery is not totally resolved just yet. That may take some time, even after he is brought back (which we’re assuming will happen).
