‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: Jennifer Morrison on Emma, Elsa, magic

When you first meet Elsa on “Once Upon a Time” season 4, we cannot imagine her being a character everyone originally warms up to, pun intended. After all, this is a woman known for having the powers to freeze everything she touches, and if she’s not wearing those gloves, there could be trouble for all Storybrooke.

With that being said, you are also going to see Georgina Haig’s character end up becoming an asset and a source for help for some other characters on the show, and that includes our primary heroine in Emma Swan. Speaking to TVLine, Jennifer Morrison does her best to detail right now some of how we could see Elsa lend a helping hand to Emma, in particular when it comes to helping her to understand magic:

“Elsa’s definitely helpful in terms of her starting to figure out ways to focus her power, control her power and try to use it as effectively as possible.”

Emma’s magical powers have always been to a certain extent a work in progress. While we know that she has them, there has been a struggle for her in figuring out just how she can really use them properly, and for the good of herself as well as others. If she ever does figure this out properly, she could be even more of a force to be reckoned with.

The new season of “Once Upon a Time” starts up Sunday night, and we’ll have some further scoop before then. Get ready!
