‘Criminal Minds’ season 10 spoilers: A new female villain on the way

Do you prefer it when “Criminal Minds” goes outside of the box a little bit? Then you will most likely appreciate the news that the show is set to cast a new female UnSub, which is something that we don’t see nearly as often on the show as we like.

According to TVLine, the character on paper is not someone you would particular expect to be a brutal person, or someone who could be capable of leaving a trail of carnage in her wake. She is described as being an “extremely attractive” and “successful” career woman in her thirties, and often gives in to some of her impulses. The only problem here is that some of these impulses often include anger, and this is one of the ways in which the BAU could find themselves becoming involved here over time.

This is a show that really does need to do almost everything that it can in order to continue casting interesting villains, mostly because like it or not, they are one of the reasons that so many people watch this show in the first place. It has some similarities in that way to “The Blacklist,” which is another series out there that relies heavily on its presence of villains in order to tell its story.

Sadly for some longtime fans of the series, you are still going to be waiting for a while for it to premiere. The new season of “Criminal Minds” is set to launch on CBS come Wednesday, October 1.
