‘Ray Donovan’ season 2 finale spoilers: What will happen to Ray, Mickey?
Next week, it all finally ends on “Ray Donovan” … at least for now. The Showtime series will be dropping the curtain on what has been an insane second season of action, and hopefully with an installment that meets all of your expectations and then some.
Let’s start things off here with what we know for sure: The title is “The Captain,” hardly the most revealing name in the world. As for what you can expect, the synopsis below details a few key events:
“Season 2 ends with Mickey hatching a new plan. Meanwhile, Abby becomes torn between Ray and Jim.”
The promo below almost sets up the situation for Ray perfectly: He is screwed. How else do you play it? Basically, everything that happened tonight involved things going horribly wrong for him. The only thing that was more terrible than what happened to Ray was just how short the episode was. In just 45 minutes or so, the show ended.
Do we feel like there will be a major character death in the finale? We would not put it past the writers to do something big, like take out someone within Ray’s finale. We just cannot imagine it being Mickey. Jon Voight may play one of the most detested characters that we have on TV, but don’t you need to have Mickey around so that you can hate him? We personally think so.
If nothing else, you can at least feel a little relieved while watching this episode knowing that there is another season coming up after this.
What do you want to see on the big finale for “Ray Donovan”? Share your thoughts with a comment.

I would have like to see Cookie break in to the house looking for ray and the video- only to be shot to death by Abbey in a bad ass twist where she shows herself she doesn’t need either of the men in her life to defend her and her kids.
