‘Justified’ season 6 spoilers: Sam Elliott, Garret Dillahunt score major roles
There has not been a whole lot to report on the “Justified” front for some time now, and one of the biggest reasons for that is merely that production has not really started up for the FX series at this point.
However, that is changing now, and we have some of the first official casting details courtesy of the network itself. These are names that you have most likely heard of, and their roles sound exciting in theory.
- Sam Elliott – We start here with a man who we personally consider to be a living legend. Elliott will play the part of Markham, a notorious gangster who could become the primary villain of the final season. He is arriving back in Kentucky with bags full of cash (stemming from a weed operation in Colorado) to go along with a personal army of sorts. Mary Steenburgen will play the love of his life in Katherine Hale, who may not be that happy to see him due to his role in the death of her husband.
- Meanwhile, Garret Dillahunt plays an extremely dangerous man named Walker, who has done some good things for the country as a soldier. However, he has since gone into the private contracting business, and he has a Liam Neeson-esque “particular set of skills” that could prove to be very dangerous to some of the folks he comes in contact with. Specifically, we expect the combination of Raylan and Boyd to bring out the worst in him.
