‘Outlander’: Before episode 7’s ‘Wedding,’ take a look behind the scenes

Tonight, Starz is going to air another episode of their show “Outlander” that may end up being the most significant hour for the show to date. After all, it is the wedding of Jamie and Claire, and longtime book readers know exactly what they are getting themselves into right now.

Before this episode airs, though, we do have an opportunity to show off a look at how it and every other installment of the show is made. In the video below, you can an inside look at how the super-fantastic folks behind the scenes here manage to make this show into something special from a visual perspective. They not only have to keep the spirit of the books alive here and live up to fan expectations, but they also have the challenge of trying to satisfy historians. That is no cheap or easy task.

Surely, you are going to see some of the best costume work of the entire series so far tonight, and that will continue moving into next week’s summer finale, and everything that comes up after that. There are another eight episodes to come after this one, but we still don’t have a whole lot of an idea when these episodes are going to air. (Personally, we feel like they will in either January or March. We’ll just have to wait and see!) Crazy times are ahead.
