‘The X Factor’ UK preview: Will Chloe Jasmine remain a favorite?

The judges -The arena auditions on “The X Factor” UK will continue again on Saturday, and there is one contestant who you should especially keeping a watch on: Chloe Jasmine. The former contestant from “The Face” made a big impression on Simon Cowell in her first audition, and she has both a unique style and also a jazzy voice.

For her arena performance, Chloe decided to perform something even more expected: “Why Don’t You Do Right,” an old song from the 1940s made more famous in recent times by Roger Rabbit. Her voice is not going to be one that everyone loves. It’s stylistic, and she is never going to be able to compete with other people when it comes to ballads.

With that being said, one of the reasons why she may find herself in the final portion of the competition is simply due to the fact that she stands out so much from the mold. Talent competitions are not strictly about how well you can sing, and in many ways, they really shouldn’t because the music industry isn’t like that, either. You also need to have passion, a killer personality, and are someone who will be greatly remembered after the fact.

Who knows? Maybe she could end up winning the competition, but it is going to be hard for her. The majority of voters tend to favor either male singers, or someone older they can relate to more like a Sam Bailey.
