ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4 spoilers: First look at Mary McCormack
“Scandal” is looking to go back to a slightly more procedural format during its upcoming fourth season, and with that in mind, you can expect to see a flurry of big-name guest stars. After all, who wouldn’t want to be a part of this show if you work within the world of TV? The ratings are huge, Shonda Rhimes is a power player, and you are most likely going to have a meaty role.
Well, what we have for you now at least is a first look at “In Plain Sight” alum Mary McCormack, who will be featured heavily in the second episode of the season entitled “State of the Union.” There is not a whole lot known about her character just yet, at least other than that her character and her husband are both going to be key influencers in the public sphere when it comes to gun control. Cyrus (Jeff Perry) will make an effort to recruit them, and this will be one of many potential moves that he and Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) make early into his second term.
What is going to be a surprise to many is just that her character is in a wheelchair, which was never mentioned in the initial casting reports for the role. How will this shape the story? It will be interesting to figure out.
The premiere episode airs literally a week from today, so the time for waiting is just about at an end!
