TV Quick Hits: ‘The Good Wife’ season 6, ‘Faking It’ season 2 spoilers; ‘Parks and Recreation’ star is Grumpy Cat

“The Good Wife” casting news – We all know that “The Good Wife” is one of the best havens for any guest star to appear, mostly because it brings so much to the table. You get a meaty part, some great moments, and the potential often to recur.

What we have to report now is that the famed Gloria Steinem is going to make a cameo in an upcoming episode in a role she should know very well by now: Herself. There were no major details available, but star Julianna Margulies announced it during a “Live! with Kelly and Michael” interview.

“Faking It” scoop – If you remember back during season 1, there were mentions of Karma (Katie Stevens) having a brother who was away. Apparently, that said brother is now coming home.

TVLine reports that Derek Mio of “Greek” fame is going to appear in an upcoming season 2 episode as the character. Given all that happens with Karma in season 1, he has a lot to catch up on.

Aubrey Plaza is “Grumpy Cat” – For their upcoming TV movie all about the famed feline, Lifetime has now found their voice in the “Parks and Recreation” star.

While Plaza is very talented, we don’t have a lot of faith in this upcoming live-action story about a cat who started out as an internet meme. At one point, there were rumors about a feature film; now, it’s a TV movie, and Jane Lynch had already passed on the part.

Plaza is busy right now filming the final season of the popular NBC show, which will most likely premiere at some point early next year. Stay tuned…
