‘Red Band Society’ episode 2 preview: What is coming up next for Octavia Spencer, cast?

We’ll be first to say that we were not the biggest fans of Fox’s new series “Red Band Society.” While there were a few moments here and there where it did look like the show had potential, it was also mired with an assortment of other problems. The story was extremely hokey and sentimental, and we still do not quite understand the narrative structure of it.

Well, we can at least tell you a little bit of what is coming up, since there are always possibilities that you will end up getting hooked on the show, or it starts to understand itself better as time passes. The second episode is entitled “Sole Searching,” and you can get some more details all about what to expect below:

“Jordi’s surgery takes an unexpected turn, which sends Leo into a tailspin. Meanwhile, Kara’s family tries to work their connections to help her get a heart, when what she really needs is right in front of them.”

This show obviously has many challenges, but one of them is that eventually, you do have to hope that those who are hospitalized find a way to get out, and start living their normal lives. The show is going to have to figure out a way to deal with that, and try to make it appealing for these characters to stick around in the hospital, even though it is a sad thing and is a reminder that they are closer to death.
