ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4 spoilers: Who will Portia de Rossi spend time with?

“Scandal” season 4 is looking to be a show jam-packed with intrigue and drama, and it is also one that will hopefully be decorated throughout with some memorable guest appearances.

At the moment, you do certainly have to rank Portia de Rossi on the list of people we are most excited to see weave her way throughout this world. This is a complicated show, but we’ve also learned that she is a very complicated character. According to Jeff Perry (Cyrus), she is a woman who works within the world of professional politics, and he tells TV Guide that both his character and Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) will spend a little time with her over the course of the episodes ahead. While this may not serve as the most substantial tease of all time, it is certainly better to find out this information than nothing.

We know that Portia will heavily recur throughout at least the first part of the season, so regardless of however much we see her in the early going, don’t automatically assume that any particular episode marks the end of her story. We do eventually think that the show will add another regular following the exit of Columbus Short, but it may not happen for a while and there is no guarantee at all that she will be that person.

The new season premieres on ABC come Thursday, September 25, and we will have further news before that time. Stay tuned!
