‘Big Brother 16’ review: Was Frankie Grande evicted, and who is the new Head of Household?

Frankie -You have been waiting for tonight’s “Big Brother 16” episode for some time now, and we’ve finally got an answer to the question on the minds of many: Was Frankie Grande finally evicted from the game?

Frankie put up a good fight through most of this season, and while we’ve found his behavior at times to be beyond frustrating, there were times in the early going that we actually felt he was playing a good game. We feel like his undoing had more to do with his competition prowess than anything else, even being the brother of a “mega mega pop star.”

Before the eviction took place, and we knew for sure he was a goner, he at least did his part to campaign using a strategy of throwing Beast Mode Cowboy under the bus … which was really the only move that he could make at this point. The problem is that Victoria also would target him, and she’s less likely to win anything.

For those wondering, Frankie did not get booed coming out the door, and we feel like the reason why may be twofold. Maybe producers shut that down after Christine because Frankie did not get the same narrative, or it may have had to do with the different audience for this pre-taped show. Either way, we were also surprised that there wasn’t a Zach question thrown in there, because Frankie’s treatment towards him is his biggest flaw in his “honesty and integrity” argument.

As for the Head of Household Competition, this was the classic game of Before or After, and the winner was Derrick. Nothing too exciting here.
