‘Finding Carter’ finale spoilers: Some things go from bad to worse
Tuesday night is a big one for MTV. As they transition to airing again their comedies “Awkward” and “Faking It,” that means that they have to say goodbye to another show that dominated their airwaves this summer: “Finding Carter.”
Like with “Faking It,” executives had to know that there were taking a huge risk with this show. After all, this is a series that revolves entirely around the idea of a young girl learning that the woman who raised her is not her actual mother, and that her entire life has been a lie. Pretty heady stuff, and all of that will be coming to a head in the big finale.
The subject matter of the new sneak peek below (via TVLine) can be described as such: Carter finds some photos of David and Elizabeth that were supposedly taken by Lori, but the twist here is that at the time they were taken, these two did not know who Lori was precisely. This is going to get complicated, and be way more messy by the time all this ends.
For those wondering whether or not the series will be ending on a sour or devastating note, keep in mind that MTV has already renewed the show for another season. Therefore, there is no need to worry about it getting canceled at the last second, right when you were starting to be hooked by the story and the characters.
