‘Faking It’ season 2 spoilers: Karma – Amy fallout and more in first premiere synopsis
Next week is going to be a huge one for almost all TV, and it really does not even matter what show you are a fan of.
For MTV fans, you get the return of “Faking It” and “Awkward” in one night on September 23. Both shows have cliffhangers that need to be resolved, and for “Faking It,” the issue at hand will be reviving the controversial moment in the closing seconds: Amy hooking up with Liam after the two got drunk at her mother’s wedding.
This episode is entitled “The Morning Aftermath,” and as the synopsis below (per SpoilerTV) makes it clear, there is going to be quite a bit that these characters are going to have to deal with:
“Karma deals with the fallout from Amy’s confession; Amy feels guilty about her tryst with Liam; Lauren and Shane devise a plan to protect Lauren’s secret.”
The nature of Lauren’s secret is what made so many headlines over the year, and while we won’t spoil it in this article if you are still in the dark, you can read up about it over at this link. Let’s just say that if you somehow managed to guess what this was during the first season, you are a step above most of us. We were completely blown away and excited about the storyline, but we never saw it coming.
Like with “Awkward,” don’t expect anything to be resolved in this one episode alone. It’s going to take time for Amy to undo what happened with Liam, and for Karma to adapt to the fact that her best friend in the whole world wants to be more than that.
