‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: Stephen Amell on ‘James Bond’ feel to premiere
Stephen Amell may be a busy man, but somehow, the guy still finds the time to visit fans at various conventions all across North America while also filming the show. This past weekend, this meant him heading out to Montreal for their annual Comic-Con event, and some pretty great scoop came out of this as a result.
Just from the following quote below (via ComicBook.com), you have a reason to be excited. The premiere is going to start off with a bang, and then it will get into some more specifics when it comes to the story after that:
“We start off the third season…it was always the idea of the producers that..you know how in James Bond movies they start off with a big action sequence that isn’t directly tied into the plot of that particular movie? It’s just to establish that we are watching an action film, and it’s James Bond and he does James Bond stuff … We start off the third season with a gigantic action set piece. You’ve seen pieces of it in the preview for Season 3, and it is myself, Diggle, Roy, and his whole costume. And then of course Felicity at the helm. And it’s just all of us kicking ass. And it’s good.”
The only things that are really known about this episode is that you’ll see the debut of Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer, Felicity and Oliver will at least attempt to go on a date, and you may see someone who is the latest version of the Count following the death of that character back in season 2.
Is there anything in particular you want to see from Oliver during the “Arrow” premiere?
