ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ season 2 spoilers: What Bellamy, Fred, and many more learn

How will “Resurrection” season 2 pick up? There is a great sense of mystery around that, and largely because of the way that season 1 ended. It appeared almost like Agent Bellamy was going to be able to get Jacob out of Arcadia, Missouri, but in the end, that didn’t quite happened as he planned.

Instead, what Bellamy is going to have to deal with now is that he is one of the returned, as well. This will be a theme specifically of the second episode of the season entitled “Echoes,” which you can read a little more about below:

“When Bellamy and Sheriff Fred get reports that someone is living in Caleb Richards’s old hunting shack, they fear he may have returned. Bellamy struggles with the knowledge that he too is a returned, and with following the orders of his mysterious boss (guest star Donna Murphy). Janine moves back home in hopes of salvaging her marriage to Pastor Tom, despite Rachael’s advancing pregnancy. Margaret Langston is furious when she learns the fate of the family business.”

So unlike some other shows that really wait to implement their new cast members, it seems like “Resurrection” is wasting no time at all when it comes to Michelle Fairley! In part, this may be a symptom of the sole fact that Margaret returns, and it is hard to really silence her after that point. She’s an enormous part of the show moving forward, even if she does not have a series-regular status that we are aware of.
