‘MasterChef’ season 5 finale spoilers: Leslie, Elizabeth, and Courtney receive help from old friends
Tonight, the end is near for “MasterChef” … at least for the summer. Leslie, Elizabeth, and Courtney are all going back to the kitchen for one last series of challenges, and by the time tonight’s two hours are over, we will learn who is the winning. We’re still leaning heavily to Elizabeth, mostly because this show has been pretty easy to predict when it comes to such things in the past.
We recently profiled all three of the finalists, but what we are here specifically to do today is discuss what they are going to be up to. They have the challenge of trying to cook for fifty of the best chefs from around the country, and to accomplish this, they will have the help of some cooks who were recently eliminated from the show. By random draw, the teams are as follows.
- Leslie – Christian and Ahran. Leslie probably gets the best team out of everyone in terms of cooking ability. He and Ahran already have a tight bond, and Christian is an extremely determined cook who knows for the most part how to get things done.
- Courtney – Daniel and Big Willie. If she can keep them at a good pace, we know that they both can cook. The problem is that one is very intense, and the other is very laid-back. That can at times produce conflict.
- Elizabeth – Victoria and Jaimee. While Leslie probably has the best team in terms of skill, Elizabeth probably has the best unit. We see all three of these ladies getting along very well, and she is a great leader in that she will keep everyone calm, and they can work well in unison.
With all of this in mind, we’re thinking that it will come down to Leslie and Courtney as to who enters the final two. Courtney has the edge, but crazier things have happened.
