‘Ray Donovan’ season 2, episode 11 preview: Ray prepares for an uncertain future

Can you believe that there are only two episode of “Ray Donovan” left before this season is at its end? It may be a crazy thought (actually, it definitely is), but that doesn’t make it any less true. The show may already have a season 3 renewal in the books, but that hardly means that all of the characters we know will be around to see it.

In the case of Ray, we are sure that he will somehow figure out a way to survive. For him, the question is somewhere more along the lines of whether or not he is going to be able to handle some of what is coming up for him in terms of the police. He may have no other choice other than to get into handcuffs at this point; he’s in too deep, and he has other people to try to protect. Whether you are talking about Cochran or Kate, it feels pretty darn clear that nothing has gone altogether according to plan.

If you want to get a few other details about what’s ahead, the short synopsis via TV Guide should serve at least as a little bit of solace:

“Ray makes preparations in case he is arrested. Meanwhile, Mickey’s heist doesn’t go quite as planned.”

So expect action, expect some big character moments, and above all else, expect your jaw to be on the ground by the time all of this ends.
