‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: What Chris Soules, Walter White may have in common
No, the answer to that is not making meth while claiming that they are “trying to support their family.” With that being said, Chris Soules is the danger “Bachelor,” and he will be heading to the state of New Mexico where “Breaking Bad” famously filmed.
This is according to a local state film and production website, who says that a filming crew for the show will be around in Santa Fe this October. Yes, this in another big difference between this show and Mr. White’s own. “Breaking Bad” was filmed primarily in Albuquerque, which is just over an hour’s drive away.
You may have actually heard whispers about this earlier in the summer, as the state was looking to reportedly shell out some money to have ABC film there. Maybe some see this as a problem, but we really don’t. This can help boost up tourism if the city is presented in a romantic light; not everyone may think of Santa Fe on their list of desirable cities, but who knows? If this goes well, people could drive up there for some romance after they spend time visiting all the familiar “Breaking Bad” locations in Albuquerque. Let’s just say that they would be hardly the first location to make an effort to get themselves featured on the show.
Typically, the “Bachelor” timeline works like this:
- The first few episodes film in the Los Angeles area, which is most likely true this time, as well. It’s just cheaper to not fly 25-30 women around everywhere.
- Then, there are typically one or two episodes that are a different domestic destination. We’ve seen Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Montana, and now potentially New Mexico.
- From here, the show tends to go international until the hometown date portion of the season.
Filming for “The Bachelor” is expected to start next week.
