ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: New Stana Katic photo; short synopsis of premiere

This “Castle” article is a bit of a hodgepodge, mostly because the overall theme of it to us is news that you may have already heard in some form, but are nonetheless pretty happy to have right now.

We begin with the attached photo (via Entertainment Weekly), which is only a slight variation on other photos for the season premiere “Driven” that we’ve seen as of late. What it mostly shows us is that Beckett (Stana Katic) means business, and she’ll continue to have the help of Ryan (Seamus Dever) and Esposito (Jon Huertas) every step of the way.

As for the short synopsis for this hour (via SpoilerTV), we’d file this one under “things you would assume to see”:

“Kate Beckett is faced with the toughest case of her career after finding Castle’s car engulfed in flames.”

While we are of course joking about this, there is also a certain part of us that is really like “what else did you expect?” after looking at the synopsis. Clearly, the series does not want to give away any of their best secrets or plot details right now, especially since the show does not even start back for a little over two weeks.

This is going to be an eventful, possibly emotional episode, and we know already that this is not going to mark the end of the road by any means for whatever happens in here. Part of the story with Rick’s disappearance will carry over into the next week, while other parts of it will last for the remainder of the entire season.
