‘Person of Interest’ season 4: Michael Emerson, Amy Acker, more coming to New York Comic Con
New York Comic Con attendees are going to get a chance to check out some very cool stuff next month, and this is blown up to the umpteenth degree if you are a fan of the CBS / Warner Bros. TV show “Person of Interest.” After all, we’ve just caught word of the full panel for the show that will be present.
The panel for the show will be Sunday, October 12 at the Empire Stage between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Eastern time. Want some further details? Then take a look at what Warner Bros. put in their press release about the event:
“The smash hit returns to New York for the fourth year! Join series stars Jim Caviezel, Michael Emerson, Amy Acker and Kevin Chapman, along with executive producer Greg Plageman for a special video presentation and Q&A – as the science “fiction” stays one step ahead of real-world events. The second machine – Samaritan – now online, has made the elusive team targets themselves, having to hide in plain sight. The only thing more frightening than the ruthless Decima organization calling the shots, is leaving those decisions up to an untested Machine. Facing a dangerous tomorrow, the POI team must find a way to outsmart Samaritan, an all-seeing, all-powerful artificial intelligence that’s self-governing, continually evolving and growing stronger every day.”
This is one of those shows that we’re really pleased is at NYCC for many reasons. For one, Emerson and Acker have serious genre-show credibility already, but we also feel like this show doesn’t quite get enough credit for some of its science fiction elements. Maybe in part that is because it airs on CBS, which as a network can be hit with just a “crime TV” label and very little else.
