‘Ray Donovan’ season 2, episode 10 preview: It all blows up for Cochran, Ray

Isn’t it interesting how “Ray Donovan” airs plenty of cursing on Showtime, but hardly any in its videos on YouTube? This is just the way that this world works for some crazy reason.

Anyway, the new sneak peek below gives you a little bit more insight into what some of the struggles for these characters are going to be, in particular when it comes to Ray and Cochran. Despite all of Ray’s “techniques” to get Kate to stay away (including some that qualify as repulsive and then some), this woman has only come closer and closer to blowing up Cochran’s position, and taking down many along with him. This is bad news for Ray, and really bad news for most everyone he cares about.

Is there a way that she can finally be taken care of? There’s only three episodes to figure it out, and as we’ve especially seen over the past couple of episodes, this is a guy who clearly also has a ton of other things on his plate that he’s going to have to deal with, and none of those are going to be going away anytime soon, either.

The one thing that you can remember over these final episodes is that there may not necessarily be a whole lot of pressure to end these stories this summer. A season 3 renewal has already been announced, and while they didn’t know for sure this was coming when they started mapping out this story, they had to have at least felt fairly confident.
