‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5: Janel Parrish, Bianca Lawson, more to return

While your character may be dead on “Pretty Little Liars,” that doesn’t mean that the show wants to cut bait with you … not in the slightest.

ABC Family has now officially confirmed that for their upcoming Halloween “Fan Appreciation Special” (which is going to include behind-the-scenes interviews and much more), you will see special appearances from the likes of Janel Parrish (Mona), Bianca Lawson (Maya), Ryan Merriman (Ian), and Bryce Johnson (Wilden) are going to all be back to speak out about the show. All of these characters are no longer with us, but they all have stories to tell given how important they all are to the overall mythology of the show.

We suppose that when it comes to the “A” mystery, the death of Mona is the most shocking given that it wasn’t that long ago that she was exposed as one of the original forces of great evil in Rosewood. While the fan reaction here was insane, you cannot forget how crazy it was back when Maya died, and fans of her and Emily as a couple were sending creator Marlene King pens in protest. Emily has gone on to have a on-again, off-again relationship with Paige, but Maya has not been forgotten.

By the time this series is over, you certainly have to think that there will be many more secrets exposed and characters dead. After all, you must remember here that the show has already been renewed straight through to season 7. That’s a long journey for these characters to go on.
