‘Supernatural’ season 10 spoilers: Misha Collins, Mark Sheppard not in 200th episode

Supernatural -Apparently, “Supernatural” wants their upcoming 200th episode to be a true return to the show’s roots, and that includes keeping the focus on two guys front and center. Sam and Dean Winchester were there for the pilot, and most likely, they are also going to be there for the eventual series finale.

Might there be some supporting characters in “Fan Fiction”? It’s possible, but a show spokesperson makes it very clear to TVLine that you are not going to see either Castiel or Crawley at least in a physical form:

“We can’t give too much away about the 200th episode or the storylines leading up to it, but we can say that while Misha Collins and Mark Sheppard are not in the episode, they, and many other favorite characters from the past nine seasons, will be represented in a way that we think fans will love.”

We’re almost afraid to really speculate too much on what form this could be, since it is starting to feel more and more like some of the joy of this episode is coming out of the element of surprise. There is only so much that is known about the story right now, and maybe that is how it should be to keep the imagination and the creativity coming for it.

We’re not altogether shocked that neither Collins nor Sheppard are appearing, given that the series may want to ensure that they focus on the guys who were there in the beginning. With that being said, we’d be said if the two, along with other characters like Bobby or Kevin, were not referenced at some point. They’ve all been very important to Sam and Dean’s journey.
