‘The Following’ season 3 spoilers: A pair of the latest roles

We imagine that it must be interesting going into an audition for a show like “The Following,” mostly because of the simple fact that you are never quite 100% sure about whether or not your character will be good or bad. Sometimes, you just have to roll with the punches of whatever you are given in that moment.

Now that we’ve said all of that, let’s go ahead and introduce you to the possibly good / possibly bad people you are going to meet when the show premieres on Fox early next year. (These notices come via E! News.)

Bonnie – She is a woman in her late 20s or early 30s who has a dangerous side to her, but can also be “smart, sexy, and playful.” She also has some sort of history in blue collar work; maybe she shows up as the killer mechanic or something.

Tom – He is a part of the SWAT team with the FBI, and is somewhere in his thirties. He is a tough guy, capable of taking down opponents with his physical side. However, he also has a softness and a tenderness underneath the surface.

Both of these roles are set to be heavily recurring, so we envision in our head a situation similar to last year when we met Lily and assumed going in that she would be around the whole season. Maybe they’ll get killed off before that, but these two both do seem to be very integral in the overall direction of the story. We’ll have to see where it leads.
