‘Better Call Saul’ spoilers: Bob Odenkirk hypes up series, new challenges

Better Call Saul season 1So far, “Better Call Saul” has to be one of the most-hyped shows out there to not air a single episode on TV. It’s a spin-off of one of the best shows in TV history in “Breaking Bad,” and that coupled with Bob Odenkirk in pole position are the reasons for all this excitement.

So to say that Odenkirk is about this series is an understatement, and he also feels like the show will actually meet most of the insane expectations that people have. For more on that, just take a look at what he had to say to E! News:

“Everything is new to me. I didn’t know any of this story about the character … I’m learning a lot about this guy, and everyone’s going to learn a lot about him because it’s all new story. [Executive producers] Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould have brought what everyone loved about Breaking Bad to Better Call Saul, all those cliffhanger moments, the tension, it’s all there and I think the fans are going to be super glad to have that back in their life.”

The biggest thing that we would say when it comes to expectations right now is to give the show a little time. It’ll be very tough for it to be as good as the original right away, but over time, maybe it will find its voice and be everything that you want it to be and then some.

Are you excited to see what this show brings to the table, or are you nervous at all thanks to how good the original series was? Share in the comments.
