‘Under the Dome’ season 2, episode 12 preview: Who could die in ‘Turn’?
This title may in some ways be misleading, given that there is something very explicit that we’ve learned about “Under the Dome” over the past year and a half: It is very possible that anyone could die at any given moment.
With that being said, next week’s new episode “Turn” appears on the surface to be even more troubling than most for many reasons. You’ve not only got Melanie in trouble, but also a separate threat that has arrived that could cause pain and suffering for everyone else. Basically, it’s the double-whammy of awful, and the threat has to be considered pretty serious by this point. One thing you have to remember here is that traditionally, penultimate episodes can be the ones with high body counts. It gives a show a chance to blow you away, and then use the following episode to deal with the aftermath. Two shows that are especially great at this are “Teen Wolf” and “Game of Thrones.”
If you want more about what to expect, just take a look at the official synopsis below:
“When a new threat from the Dome intensifies, the residents of Chester’s Mill find themselves at risk of being crushed to death. Meanwhile, Melanie’s health continues to deteriorate as the fate of the egg remains unknown.”
We expect things to certainly be crazy on the rest of “Under the Dome” season 2, but we’ll just have to see how everything truly unfolds when all of the dust settles. We’ll be back with more coverage soon, so be on the lookout for that in the coming days.
