‘Ray Donovan’ season 2, episode 10 preview: Could Ray’s choices come back to haunt him?
Tonight, we saw an episode of “Ray Donovan” that was in many ways all about addressing demons, albeit in a variety of different ways.
For example, this was not a good week for Bunchy at all, and we started to get more and more of an idea of just what happens when Ray’s personal and professional lives collide. He wants his daughter Bridget to see him in a certain way, but that has not exactly been successful thanks to his extracurricular actions. Also, Cookie is terrifying.
Want to get some more news all about what lies ahead? Then take a look at the synopsis for next week’s episode below (via TV Guide):
“Ashley’s stalker, Bob Lepecka, returns and makes trouble for Steve Knight. Meanwhile, Cochran is officially nominated for the FBI directorship and tries to protect himself from the vetting process; Kate confronts Ray about his past; and Mickey gathers a team for his pot store robbery.”
We love the promo that Showtime put together below, mostly because this is a show that often relies so much on sharp dialogue and intense characters to get its point across. Going a complete 180 here, and focusing more on the softer moments without any dialogue at all (coupled with the show’s trademark violence) is a nice touch. It definitely allows this promo in particular to stand out above any other one that the show has put together.
There are only a few episodes left moving forward this season, and there is one thing that we can really take from this: Things are going to definitely hit the fan.

Is there even a remote possibility that Ray won’t have to kill Cookie? No, I don’t think so…
