‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ spoilers: New trailer to air during ‘The Strain’

Tonight, FX is giving you another reason to tune into their drama “The Strain”: There will be a new trailer for “American Horror Story: Freak Show” that plays during it. As a matter of fact, this is the only actual trailer so far to feature anything from the actual show.

Over the past few weeks, we’re sure that you may have seen at some point one of the teasers that the network put out there. These have all definitely won the award for being creepy … often to a very high level. These are designed to make your skin crawl and get you excited, but what they are not designed to be is something with actual footage of the show itself. There are still many things that FX wants you to be surprised about.

If you have been trapped under your own big top recently and have not heard any of the latest news, here is what we can tell you for now: The story will take place in the 1950s within the community of Jupiter, Florida. Jessica Lange will star as the operator of one of the last surviving freak shows, and there will be an assortment of various characters who work for her. This includes a strongman (Michael Chiklis), a bearded lady (Kathy Bates), and even a two-headed woman (Sarah Paulson).

As for a villain, be on the lookout for a Clown Killer! As for whether or not this killer is a clown, or just happens to enjoy killing clowns, that is something we’ll have to wait to find out.
