We’ve made it pretty far now into this season of “Outlander,” and that means an opportunity to see one dramatic twist after another for Claire and company.
Tonight, we had an interesting cliffhanger of sorts. After an hour that included her on a mission to let a family keep its goat, and also plenty of queries for her to stay out of pressing business for those who understand the local language, she had an opportunity to potentially depart. She has a choice to make, and by the time next week’s “The Garrison Commander” begins, we will hopefully know her response. From here on out, the rest of the story can unfold, and it will hopefully do so in as intriguing a manner as possible.
Want to get some more scoop on what lies ahead now? Then just check out the short synopsis below:
“Claire is thrown for a loop when her surprise meeting with a British general is interrupted by the dangerous Capt. Jack Randall, who suspects she is harboring secrets.”
Now that we’ve made it to the halfway point of the season, the stakes for Claire are certainly going to be raised. She has been in Scotland for a time, and some things are starting to become a little more clear. Still, nothing can most likely replace the feeling that she is still an outsider in a foreign land and also a foreign time, and this is going to become a very difficult thing to come to terms with as more and more questions are asked.
