‘Supernatural’ season 10 premiere spoilers: Some of the best Jensen Ackles photos yet
We knew that the “Supernatural” premiere on October 7 was going to be awesome, but we’re not getting an example of just how awesome it will be.
If we were Jensen Ackles, we would have to be thrilled with the story coming our way courtesy of Demon Dean after placing a character a specific way for ten years. You’re getting to do some really fun, crazy stuff that you don’t typically get to do on the show, including be a total party animal at the karaoke bars! This song is “Imaginary Lover” by the Atlanta Rhythm Section, and we are already very curious to see whether or not he is good karaoke or bad karaoke.
Also, you can expect to see Dean get his flirt on a little bit with at least one local waitress, and apparently he is downing a pretty big drink to boot. Why is he doing all of this? It’s mostly because the demon within him is manifesting himself as a carefree spirit. For the first time, he’s not going to feel burdened by anything, and is just going to give in to every temptation thrown in front of him. This is a different sort of interpretation than some were most-likely expecting, but we prefer that Demon Dean is acting this way versus just a mustache-twirling supervillain. This is much more complicated, and it will also be harder for Sam to stop this way. We already know that it will take Jared Padalecki’s character time to cross paths with his brother again, and to also figure out what has even happened to him.

Demon Dean is probably the most interesting story that has come out of Carver’s reign as showrunner. Sadly, I feel that Carver will let this gem go too fast, just as he did Purgatory.
But meanwhile, I will enjoy DemonDean and I give Jensen more credit for the character than I would give Carver or the writers. Jensen sure knows how to expand on some short story telling. He’s had to, since Carver and Singer never give him anything to do but watch out for Sam and navel gaze over Sam’s latest “what’s wrong with Sam this time”.
Also, it’s not a demon within Dean. Dean is dead, and he’s become the demon and much more. Such and interesting story. Too bad it won’t last long because it has nothing to do with Sam and on this show, everything must have something to do with Sam. The writers haven’t got a clue on how to write anything different and Carver hasn’t a clue on how to run a different kind of show, despite his empty claims.

If the writers cut Demon Dean’s arc short I propose that we form a posse, hunt them down and show them the error of their ways. The line forms at the left, baseball bats and clubs will be provided.

Yep twitter is now alight because of these photographs, and I myself am really looking forward to what Jensen does and just hope Demon Dean lasts more than just a couple of episodes *glares at the writers*!!

Well Soulless!Sam lasted half a season, so I’m hoping Demon!Dean goes that long at least.

That would be great. But I doubt that will happen under this show runner. He’s too afraid to let Dean have more than a couple of episodes of story, before he returns to the status quo of what’s wrong with Sam (version 5677) and how Dean’s job is to make sure Sam is safe, warm and dry. Meanwhile Sam treats his brother like crap, but that’s considered progress from Carver.
Yeah, I’m bitter. I remember season 8 and while the beginning was great, I sure hated the fact that Sam got away with causing the death of a friend while Dean was punished for sending Sam a text. So for the rest of the season, Dean was turned into a hausfrau to make it up to Sam. Pft.

Oh, you mean Martin? The guy Dean was happy was dead because it meant Benny lived? The man that he pulled his backup from by sending the text? Oh, that’s right Dean can’t be blamed, only Sam. And BTW, Dean set that text up way beforehand “just in case” Sam was going to do something Dean didn’t like. Or maybe you are thinking about the time Dean tried to KILL KEVIN’S MOTHER IN FRONT OF HIM as a way to get to Crowley? Or maybe when Dean killed the woman who saved Sam’s life as a kid? Or maybe the woman he promised he would save from Hell by closing the Gates so she wouldn’t have to pay with her soul for saving her MOTHER.
