ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: First look at Stana Katic’s Kate in premiere

“Castle” for the most part has been very guarded when it comes to sharing story secrets from the upcoming season 7 premiere, but they were at least kind enough to let one thing out in the open: A photo from the September 29 episode, which features Beckett and company on the hunt for Castle.

Will he be brought back alive? You have to assume so, given you would need to change the name of the show otherwise. We imagine that what is a little more interesting and up for debate right now is just what the rest of the team will have to go through to ensure his safety.

This attached photo here was first posted by TVLine, and it features Stana Katic’s character alongside Esposito (Jon Huertas) and Ryan (Seamus Dever), seemingly a step away from uncovering some of the people responsible for this. In general, this may be a good example of some of the overall intensity that you are going to get from this story. Expect the premiere to be very dramatic, and for it to also establish a sort of new trajectory for our lead characters to last at least a little while.

Do we expect this same trajectory to last forever? Not exactly, given that we feel like things will ease up and become more comedic by the time the second or third episode comes around. “Castle” is a great show, but it’s also one that follows a pattern and is a little easy to predict sometimes when it comes to when the most impactful episodes will air. (Then again, you could say that about all TV.)
