‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6 spoilers: Who is getting a new love interest?

You have probably heard quite a few times now about possible romances on “NCIS: Los Angeles,” and of course Deeks and Kensi are two of the characters who will be the most prominently featured here.

With that being said, isn’t it possible that we could see someone else in the show featured in a love story of their own? It seems like it. Speaking to TVLine, executive producer Shane Brennan made it pretty clear that we could see none other than Callen have a new love interest next from an unexpected source, which could make for an interesting story. Personally, what we’d like to see for both this show and many others out there is for it to be someone who really should not be even remotely right for him at all. Then, he somehow has to work very hard at making the relationship work. It would be a nice little twist on what we traditionally see, and that could be plenty of fun. Having them be within the same career field would just be too convenient, given that we already have something similar to that to Deeks and Kensi (who we’re really hoping are going to actually get together this year).

We would take this news as some sort of confirmation that you are going to see Callen and Sam survive their “Deep Trouble” with a submarine in the season 6 premiere, but you probably assumed that, anyway. While it has become familiar to see characters die early on in a season as a way to create a shock, the producers are not getting rid of the two stars of the show at once. That’s a little too crazy to imagine.
