‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7: Has Charlie Hunnam lined up his next big role?

Jax -Sons of Anarchy” season 7 is currently in the process of filming, but in a matter of a few short months, all of this is going to be over.

With that in mind, it’s only understandable that some of the actors from the show would start looking for some other roles. Many of the actors may find other TV shows, while some may venture into movies. For Charlie Hunnam, this seemingly means an opportunity to play one of the most legendary fictional characters out there in King Arthur.

According to a new report coming in via Deadline, Hunnam is in final talks to play the character in an upcoming film on the character directed by Hut Ritchie, and created from the mind of Joby Harold. This could be a part of a project that spans as many as six films, and if Hunnam appears in all of them, you could certainly say it was not the franchise factor that made him turn away “Fifty Shades of Grey.” It was, as many speculated and he confirmed, the schedule for it.

Hunnam already has a busy film slate, given that he also has a franchise attached to him in “Pacific Rim.” Luckily for him, he will have plenty of time to take on everything soon. He said that he would stick to “Sons of Anarchy” until the series was done, and that included him staying on for a season 8 if the show had went in that direction. However, that’s not happening; creator Kurt Sutter and FX have confirmed that these upcoming episodes will mark the end of the road.
