‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5 spoilers: Official details on return of ‘Deep Trouble’
On September 22, “NCIS: Los Angeles” will officially pick up with new episodes … and the show is going to waste almost no time at all throwing you right back into the action.
Remember that cliffhanger that featured Callen and Sam stuck in a submarine with explosives, sent to destroy an aircraft carrier? Well, “Deep Trouble” will pick up with part 2 with this same story, and there will also be a few things when it comes to Hetty that throw you for a loop.
If you want to see more of what you can expect in the episode, just look at the synopsis below:
“Callen and Sam are trapped in an armed submarine that terrorists have aimed to hit an aircraft carrier in San Diego. Meanwhile, Hetty defies orders and forgoes her trip to Washington, as the team tries to locate and save Callen and Sam and prevent the terrorist attack.”
The one thing that we’re surprised about with this is that there is not a whole lot of updates in here when it comes to Kensi and Deeks. They are one of the most-popular pairs on any crime procedural, and we know that there are plenty of folks out there ready to see the “will they or won’t they?” part of this come to a close.
The biggest challenge for the show, though, actually has nothing to do with the story. Instead, it revolves more around airing the series at 10:00 p.m. Eastern against “The Blacklist” and “Castle,” two shows within the same genre with a similar audience.
