‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 spoilers: ‘Sherlock’s’ Mark Gatiss to return
Great news for all fans of “Sherlock“: You’re going to be seeing a little bit more of Mark Gatiss on “Game of Thrones” season 5.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the actor / writer will be back as Tycho Nestoris of the Iron Bank of Braavos for at least one episode of the show, and is going to be in Croatia next week to film some of his scenes. The last time we saw the character, he helped to give us some insight into the problems that the Lannisters are facing. They owe the bank money, and when that happens, the bank turns around and funds their enemies. Basically, they are one of the most dangerous powers out there, and they operate under their own unique set of rules.
Also, we figured it right to give a tiny update now on another story making waves the past week or so. Remember the headlines regarding a controversial scene being “banned” by a local Dubrovnik church? Well, it seems like this has already been resolved. This pivotal scene in the books, per the website, has found itself a new location, and all problems have been resolved. (All we will say is that it involves someone in the buff, which is probably why the church got so upset in the first place.)
“Game of Thrones” season 5 will premiere most-likely in either late March or early April, and hopefully, we’ll have a whole lot more in the way of news before then. Filming still has many months to go until it is complete.
