‘Revenge’ season 4 video: A different side of Madeleine Stowe – Emily VanCamp story

Every now and then, we do like to take a look at how TV networks around the world promote American shows, if for no other reason than that you get a sense of what they like, and also how they want to frame the series for their audience.

Luckily, those who watch “Revenge” over on Seven Network basically get the same promotional strategy as we do in the United States: This is a bizarre, twisted drama stuffed full of surprises, and the biggest point of emphasis going into season 4 is of Emily Thorne locking Victoria Grayson away in the insane asylum.

We really dig what the network did here, as they showed some highlights from the shocking season 3 finale along with shots of Madeleine Stowe and Emily VanCamp like they were a part of the most-twisted version of one of those Glam Cam 360 devices that you see at awards shows. Sure, some of the promotional images that they use here are from all the way back in the first season, but we can’t really blame them too much for this since they are set at the beach and they look rather glamorous.

The saddest thing for Australians has to be the news here that the new season of this show will be on the air in 2015, which is a good four months at least later than it starts up in America and Canada. We’ll be getting to see this show again on ABC / City starting on Sunday, September 29 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time.
