ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4 spoilers: Joe Morton on Rowan back in the saddle
Through at least a certain percentage of “Scandal” season 3, we saw the character of Rowan in a position he is not familiar with: Vulnerable. For the first tie in a long time, he was not fronting the super secret B613 that controlled the majority of the inner workings of Washington. He was not necessarily more powerful than the present, but this was a different sort of power.
So what is going to happen when Jake, who was running the organization, returns back to Washington with Rowan’s daughter Olivia Pope? This, per Joe Morton, is going to be one of the most interesting things to explore on the show’s upcoming fourth season. If you want some further scoop on that, then just take a look at what Morton had to say in an interview with E! News:
“I think if Olivia returns, he’s going to be kind of concerned about that, wondering why she’s back and what for and how that’s going to work out. I also think what’s going to happen is people are going to find out what I did and sparks are going to fly.”
This is a somewhat similar reaction to what Morton had when asked recently about his character’s relationship with Fitz. You know that these two are also probably going to collide at some point during the show’s fourth season after Rowan was responsible for his son’s death, and this is not going to be pretty if the President ever learns the truth.
The new season of “Scandal” premieres on ABC come Thursday, September 25, and we are of course going to have some further updates soon! If you want to get some news on everything we cover in the near future in your email inbox, sign up for our CarterMatt Newsletter.
