‘Glee’ season 6 spoilers: Basic details on Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, and other stories

Finally, some of the veil has been lifted on what the story for “Glee” season 6 will be … and it starts with the first real setback for Rachel Berry since graduating from McKinley High and getting her spot at NYADA.

According to some just-released details from Fox, Lea Michele’s character is going to actually return to Lima, Ohio feeling “humiliated” as a result of what happens to her with her attempts at a television career in Los Angeles. Based on all of this information, it appears that whatever happens here does not end up going particularly well for her, and she ends up coming back home and realizing that she should try to lead the McKinley High School glee club back to prominence once again.

There are some other significant changes when it comes to the overall cast for this coming season, as well. Joining Lea aboard the show this time will once again be Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Chord Overstreet, Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, and Kevin McHale. What are the surprises here are that Amber Riley will be back as a regular for this season, and Dot-Marie Jones will also have her largest role on a season to date. It’s already been reported that Naya Rivera will return for a reduced role, and that Max Adler has been signed to recur as Karofsky.

Could we see other cast members pop up? We surely hope so. People like Puck, Quinn, Tina, and Brittany all at least deserve one more appearance on the show, and while we may not be their biggest fans, it’d also be nice to at least find out what happened to Marley, Jake, Ryder, and that crew.
