ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4 spoilers: Joe Morton promises more Papa Pope
Rowan is a great character on “Scandal,” mostly because of the fact that he is a guy who you really want to think has the capacity to change. However, every time that you start to really invest in the guy again, you find out that he was responsible for killing a kid. (Well, this is at least one instance of him proving his bad-ness once again.)
Will he ever change? Doubtful, but the one thing you can most certainly expect are some serious words between Papa Pope and Fitz in the event the latter finds out. Speaking to TVLine last night at the Emmys, the recent Guest Actor winner promised that “sparks will fly” between the two characters.
Just in case you were wondering if Morton’s series-regular gig on the new drama “Proof” for TNT will limit him, it really doesn’t look like it will too much. After all, he stated that he doesn’t start shooting the latter series until January or February of next year, which means that he will be available for most likely more than half of the show’s season 4 episodes, and maybe more depending on how the scheduling works out.
To us, this is a definite win. We always need a little bit more of Papa Pope in our lives, and we are very happy to know that there will be more of him on the show. The guy not only brings out the biggest emotions from Olivia, but the same can be true from the rest of the cast.
