Love “The Flash“? While you may have to wait still until October 7 for the new season to premiere, there is no reason to wait at all to see the latest poster!
While this one may only feature a tiny version of our hero Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), it focuses on something that is still very exciting: His superpower. This was what actually made us the most nervous about this show the moment that we heard it was announced. This is a CW program, and therefore not something with an enormous budget. How do you replicate these powers without having it be incredibly cheesy at the same time? We imagine that it cannot be easy.
Still, this poster makes it look very cool, and some of the early buzz on “The Flash” itself as a show right now is that it finds a way to use this superpower to the fullest. Even without a big budget, the series has come up with what appears to be a pretty cool way to implement Barry and his powers without making things cheesy.
The story will pick up with our hero in Central City following his time in a coma, and what happens from there as he starts to become used to being a hero that the city needs. It will not waste a whole lot of time getting him into the costume, and may in some ways feel more like a traditional comic book, given the sort of villains that he will be facing with some various powers of their own.
