‘Homeland’ season 4: Claire Danes dishes on new story, ‘on the ground’ feel
Claire Danes could potentially be a three-time Actress in a Drama Series at the Primetime Emmy Awards tonight, but before we come to that, how about some further scoop on “Homeland” season 4?
Danes made her presence felt during the E! red carpet pre-show on Monday, and when asked for at least a few details she could share on the story coming up, she stated the following:
“This is the first season is based in foreign territory … We’re seeing what espionage work is on the ground. It is full of adventure.”
Even getting to the Emmys this year was a pretty darn difficult journey for Danes, given that she had a long way to go from where the show is filming in South Africa. What makes this whole experience even crazier for her right now is that her husband Hugh Dancy has been hard at work lately on a miniseries in Australia, which is not altogether close to where she has been. Unfortunately for the two of them, it will not be getting any easier to balance out schedules in the near future, either, given that Hugh has another great gig over on “Hannibal” that is going to take a good deal of his time and energy.
“Homeland” season 4 will grace Showtime come Sunday, October 5, and it will be doing so with a grand two-hour event that contains both of the show’s first two episodes. Expect drama, action, surprises, and so much more from Carrie and company in this new location. We’ll of course have full coverage.
