TV Quick Hits: ‘Lost Girl’ season 5 to be its last; ‘Modern Family’ spoilers; ‘Ray Donovan’ preview

“Modern Family” casts Steve Zahn – We have just found out the latest edition to the “Modern Family” cast, and it suggests that the Dunphy family is going to have some interesting new neighbors!

Steve Zahn is set to recur on the sixth season of the ABC hit as Ronnie, the head of a new family moving right next door to Phil and Claire … and he will immediately also be a problem for them. Basically, he and his family are the poster children for the kind of neighbors you wish you would never have in a million years. We don’t expect to see him in every episode, but these appearances should be a nice little way to shake things up.

“Lost Girl” to end after season 5 – In what may be surprising news to many of young, the Showcase / Syfy series is going to be wrapping things up after the upcoming 16-episode fifth season (which will be split into halves).

In the video below, actress Anna Silk confirms that this will be the last season, and she thanks all of the fans for their constant support. While we are sad to hear this news, we are just coming off of another series in “True Blood” that stuck around on the air too long. It is better to go out early and leave with a bang, before people start to feel you are showing your age.
