‘Girl Meets World’ episode 8 spoilers: First look at ‘Girl Meets Smackle’

“Girl Meets World” may at present be on hiatus, but we’re here now to offer up a few more details about what lies ahead! Specifically, we’re talking about “Girl Meets Smackle,” an episode that will find Farkle getting a new love interest. Moving forward from here, the question will be whether or not he knows what to do with them once he finds out that they have feelings.

“When Smackle, a debate champion from another school who happens to have a crush on Farkle, realizes that he only sees her as an academic rival, she enlists Maya and Riley to give her a makeover.”

We are always down for anything that gives Farkle more of a story, mostly because we’re pretty sure that the character is insane and that is what makes him so much fun to watch.

With that being said, though, we do have to ponder another interesting question: When are we going to get a big Lucas story? We’ve complained that he is the weakest part of the show’s ensemble cast right now, and the only way that you are really going to make someone like him better is to feature him more. Unfortunately, that has not been happening just yet to the character’s own detriment. Maybe there is something further for him planned a little down the road … we’ll just have to wait and see.
