‘Falling Skies’ season 4, episode 10 preview: The last before the finale

Are you ready to see where the story goes from here on “Falling Skies”? Well, there are only so many stories left to tell first and foremost!

If we were looking at almost any other season for the TNT sci-fi epic, then we would be spending today previewing the season finale. However, the 12-episode order this time gives us at least a little more flexibility to speculate as to what could be coming up … and the promo below certainly makes it appear as thought an epic battle-of-sorts will be what lies ahead for some of our characters. Tom is once again at the center of the whole “will they survive?” debate and is a leader, but the problem is that he is fighting against so many others, and humanity almost seems like a needle in a haystack at this point.

As we’ve been saying all along, though, we still refuse to believe that the Espheni are going to walk away from this the victors, and that all of humanity is doomed. The show would almost be useless if this was a case of no hope for the good guys, since the edit has never led us to believe that is where we are heading here.

Honestly, we expect Sunday’s episode to be akin to the second part in a trilogy. Its goal is most likely to build to the crazy stuff coming up in the next chapter, and make sure nothing goes off course. While this means sometimes that there are few “major moments,” other times these chapters are often the best.
