‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ spoilers: Some of the latest casting details
For all fans of “American Horror Story,” the feeling of joy has to be spreading. We know when the show is coming back! While October 8 may still be a ways away, it’s really only a month and a half away. The fact that we are going to meet a variety of interesting characters before that only adds to the excitement.
According to some casting intel unearthed recently by SpoilerTV, the Ryan Murphy production is looking for a wide array of characters to appear in this world set in 1950s Jupiter, Florida. Specifically, they are looking for unusually tall or short people, strongmen characters, people who are heavily pierced or “morbidly obese,” or other things that set them out and you would see in a standard freak show.
Basically, the one thing that you can take from all of this is that the show is looking to bring even more “Freak Show” people into the show beyond just the series regulars. This is more evidence that Murphy and coming are looking to really craft a complete world, but this has to be more difficult than the standard show. You want things to look realistic, and you cannot just CGI a bunch of piercings on someone easily. It’s much easier to use people if you can find some other there ready and willing to be professionally.
The show will continue filming for many months, and hopefully we’ll have some further scoop on the subject very soon.
