‘Elementary’ season 2 spoilers: Meet Captain Gregson’s daughter!
You may not get the sense of it all of the time, but there are some important characters within the “Elementary” world not named Holmes or Watson. With that in mind, we present to you the following scoop related to the show!
According to a brand-new report now from Entertainment Weekly, Liza Bennett of “12 Years a Slave” is going to be cast in the role of Officer Hannah Gregson, daughter of course to the Captain who works so often with Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu’s characters. As for how she gets herself in a tricky situation on the show, think along the lines of a very nasty end to a workplace romance. This puts her own career in some danger, and things will not be going so well for her and her father, either.
Given who the leads of this show are, we would definitely be surprised if Sherlock and Joan do not find a way to get involved here in some capacity. Watson is great at being extremely sympathetic, and helping someone else through whatever situation they may be in. Meanwhile, Holmes is great at … deduction? Well, let’s be honest here when we remind ourselves that this man is not entirely known for his people skills here. Better to let Joan do most of the talking if this is the direction we are going in right now.
The new season of “Elementary” will premiere later this fall, after CBS wraps up all of their Thursday Night Football.
